after discovering my new toaster oven can heat more than just leftover chicken wings, i'm in a whole new world of not needing fast food

[pending picture of yesterday-morning's breakfast]

I have spent $76.73 so far this month on eating out.

I got an awesome coupon deal the other day. A bunch of shampoo/conditioner was on clearance at my store, and there were coupons worth more than they were selling them for. I ended up getting 7 shampoos/conditioners and they paid ME $3.63 to take them, which I spent on lunch. When you have more worth of coupons than the items cost, they give you a gift card for the difference.

I also gave 3 of them away to a co-worker. So I ended up with 4 shampoos/conditioners and a free lunch, plus I got to make someone else feel good!

We got a crock pot for Christmas and used it for the first time yesterday. Pulled pork. We didn't have enough time to cookmit for as long as we should have but it is still good and there is an absolute fuckton of it.

Ive been trying to cut down on bad eating and have been eating healthy crap.

I miss bad food.

But no one likes a "faggoty fattie" and I so want to fit in with the rest...

i think it helps if you make the bad food yourself out of whole ingredients and limit it to like maybe two or three meals a week

so basically what i mean is

banana & yogurt & granola and black coffee for breakfast
turkey sandwich on whole wheat with mixed nuts for lunch
gooey mushroom swiss burger with carrots for dinner

that's what i did yesterday

Made bison burgers last night. A bit pricey but ground beef or turkey was only slightly cheaper. More meat obv but we'd have eaten all of it for one meal anyway so not a terribly irresponsible purchase.

Made them with garlic and a little cilantro. They were very good. I'll probably just have the leftover pork tonight. Aaaand I should make a salad I guess.

I used to have to be reminded to eat or I'd just forget. Later I read Marilyn Manson has the same thing. These days I have an actual appetite and eat enough (too much?), although I can't eat anything till I've been awake one or two hours.

When I was drinking heavily, food was something of an enemy, as I was scared it would absorb too much of the precious alcohol and ruin my buzz.

I'm usually up for 6+ hours before I eat anything. Just generally not hungry in the mornings.

The thing is i never eat out but i don't really cook either. I mean i sorta hmm..heat things up...but that's not really cooking. Anything that take more than 10 mins at most to make, i'm not making. I don't have time for this shit. And by don't have time i mean i'd rather be doing..anything else. Eating is more of a functional thing for me especially if i'm trying to lose weight. I throw shit i got together and call it a meal often time. This was what i ate yesterday

Two scrambled eggs mixed in with a cup and a half of leftovers white rice
A can of tuna mixed with precisely 14 crushed unsalted soda crackers (well its simpler than putting it on a cracker and the end result is the same)
A cortland apple with sharp cheddar

i could probably eat something if it were already made for me, though. i bought some greek yogurt today after work to have with grape nuts and honey (and sometimes fruit). i also have leftover tomatillo sauce and it wouldn't be so hard just to make eggs and fry up some tortillas.

i used to half-way cook oatmeal and put a serving in a jar so i could just pull it out in the morning and heat it up. i am just really lazy about feeding myself before i leave to work.

i really should put the work in on on the weekend to be prepped for the week. s'not like it would talk a long time.

having breakfast sure is a tough thing to manage on the days one works. at the very least i could boil two eggs for 15 minutes while i get ready and have toast with my coffee, but even that seems like too much work on a given day. plus i am paranoid of smelling like eggs unless i shower after i would eat them.

how do you ensure you eat something before noon?
