How can you look at that data and conclude that it's a crapshoot? Are you insane? LA is the big outlier. Goddamn fuckin LA and their garbage ass fans
he makes no fucking sense. The majority of those teams were top 4 in the league!

maybe he doesn't understand what "crapshoot" means

I discussed this some time last year but why the leafs still have any fans is anyone's guess. I hate how in canada they're still somehow seen as the default canadian team you're supposed to root for. Fuck the leafs, they haven't made even the playoffs finals since that late 60's cup. Logically this team should be dead. They should have been forced to shut down or move years ago. But no, i don't know now but just a few yearasago they were still one of the biggest draw in the league. They can't lose money. Fucking mind blowing. Any leafs fan is a moron in my book. I don't care if you were born and raised in toronto, at some point stop hating yourself so much and like a different team.

At this point every canadian team in history is better than the leafs. I mean if you look at the last 40 years. Except maybe winnipeg.

I always thought someone named Getzlaf missed their calling and should have been a comedian.

Was at the game today. Boooooo. Glad the pens got a point though. They looked solid too. Fleury especially.

CAREER PLAYOFF STATISTICS

SEASON TEAM GP G A P +/- PIM PPG SHG GWG S S%

2008-2009 BLUE JACKETS 4 1 2 3 -4 2 0 0 0 13 7.7
2012-2013 RANGERS 12 1 4 5 3 0 0 0 0 42 2.4
2013-2014 RANGERS 25 3 7 10 -1 8 1 0 1 83 3.6
NHL TOTALS 41 5 13 18 -2 10 1 0 1 138 3.6

I don't know man, until he does something about these numbers there are a lot of guys I'd take over him. Point taken though that he's stepped it up this season after whispers of buyout last year. I think it's really hard to handcuff who the favorite will be going into the playoffs this year- the field seems really wide open.

And as a no homer vote, Steven Stamkos shouldn't be on that list either. Amazing to think he's had an off season and is still towards the top of the goal leaders, but something has definitely been off. I'd say it might be something to do with his injury last year but he hasn't shied away from the front of the net or physical play. It's almost like his hockey IQ has been off just a bit.

He is 3rd of all players in most goals scored over the past 10 years. the takes some consistency.

does anyone else feel that second assists are absolute horseshit? if they weren't horseshit, then a player who scores on a give-and-go should be awarded two points.

Crosby has two years on Kane. Yeah, Kane hasn't had a 100 point season, much less back-to-back seasons, but he's on track for one this year, and appears to be reaching his full potential.

Also, playoffs matter.

And prior to Stamkos' leg getting completely fucked, I would 100% have taken him over Crosby

Well I think that's absolutely silly. And kane isn't even the best player on his team. Just one man's opinion though. They're all great.

Can't really argue.

Holy fuck, Corey Crawford just scored on himself during a line change. Maybe the #1 garbage play of the year.

If you're gonna put your stock in developing 2015 and 2016 picks at this point the window will close and they'll never win a cup with the current core. They needed another bottom 6 to try to win now. So I like it.

If only Dupuis and Maata were healthy. They'd be primed for a good run.
