Default fuck man

we're getting kicked out. the apartment management recently changed and they have decided to terminate our (awesome) month to month arrangement.

we haveto be out by october 15. we don't have money for a deposit. i hate everything.

No, we're still in Florida. We would probably be even more function if we went to Colorado. We were arty planning on moving around December, so I guess this isn't that much of an inconvenience. I'll be selling my car pretty soon for at least two grand so at least I will have that money in hand for a deposit even though our credit sucks. It's just going to be a pain in the ass especially since it's happening in the middle of the semester like this.

ah, fuck. i have a friend in colorado that rents out his house and is looking for tenants. you'll always be able to find places that will work with you, even if it's some "policy". i've found that almost all complexes will do leeway just to occupy an apartment that is sitting unrented. have some hope, you're not totally screwed. if you're up front about how long you plan on staying in a place, and why you do not have a deposit hopefully there is someone out there who understands. lots of private renters. even the corporate renter places are run by basically franchise douche bags trying to meet a quota. sooner than later i guess. hope it works out man.

even the most douchiest/incompetent of management/landlords will work something out with you... everybody needs a place to stay. especially when you're already staying there

though in my experience that doesn't apply to smaller complexes in "good" areas .. dem landlords cutthroat

D said that when she walked the dogs yesterday, many people's doors had the notes on them in the same form, so it's highly possible that the same thing is happen to many of the other tenants here. As a white dude from comfortable circumstances, I've been wary of crying "gentrification" but it's now very clear that this is what's happening.

The new owners are pouring a ton of money into making the place look nice i.e. overhauling the landscaping, remodling the leasing office and (my personal favorite) replacing the basketball courts with racquetball courts. It's in the middle of a pretty run down area. Rent rates that are typically lower-middle class and below.

It kind of sucks. We will probably move to Eatonville since that is much closer to where D works and she doesn't drive.

To be fair though isn't it sort of a joint effort between the housing developers, the police and the lawmakers? Those guys are the jackals or the lions or whatever. The suburban kids are vultures, parasites

i should be nice, it starts out because rent is dirt cheep. those enteprising souls that create the trend...all those poor ass white guys in austin that started it were musicians and artists and such, thus all the sycophants that want to glom onto that culture will attach a cache to williamsburg, east austin, silver lake from what i hear and other places like them and then the assholes arrive in numbers

Looks like bubble money from the QE propping up the markets a bit before the election. Your landlord is a sucker who'll be left holding the debt before its all and said and done. The money he's spending came from somewhere and I'm sure a local council member is getting greased as well. Pump and Dump and look for the dump after this November.
