honestly i dont get this at all. I think Im like Trotskys friend, we're American-beyond that who cares. Thats probably just born out of feeling no affiliation or affinity for mexico at all.

my instructor's name is Peter. he's deaf himself and also the theatrical ASL director at Steppenwolf. And he is hil-arious!

levels 2 - 5 are $115 (8 week session). but 1 was $180 because we needed the purchase the text book. i am actually starting 3 tomorrow where we won't have vocabulary lessons from him anymore so we need to work on that ourselves.

i'm guessing we will be working on the use of space, expression, repetition, classifiers, tenses, etc. i dunno. i'll find out tomorrow.

for vocab i recently purchased some flash cards and practice fairly often. i've been meaning to get to some meet-ups because practicing with tim just isn't cutting it although he's now picked up some things.
