Can't argue with that.
Who's Jimmy Chamberlain? This guy pretty much has the right of it though; calling out Billy for slandering the others. |

Oh fuzzy
Pavement Tune is a song title (not from Pavement) Why don't you stick to your gambling thread and NOFX since their stuff is so much better than what this side of the board is about |

also if he "failed at being a music journalist" it was probably because he was trying to catch on to print, which you seem to think is more "legitimate" when it's been pretty obvious for at least five years now that more people read blogs and successful old media now has blog presence

Do you read CoS trots
Is that the new MTV to you I didn't ask "who reads blogs lol" I said who CARES about some fucking blogger making LISTS And no, I wasn't referring to print media That guy couldn't make it as a pitchforker and couldn't get his "concert reviews" published anywhere. It's fuckin Bosman, I know him and his writing, once again you put words in my mouth "what I seem to think" and "probably" Last edited by pavementtune : 07-06-2014 at 01:44 AM. |

"Who cares about bloggers making lists?"
Pretty sure bloggers are the biggest taste-makers and the most influential music journalists these days |

I suspect you know this, but you're just butt-hurt because yet again, a music critic is talking honestly about SP, and you just can't handle it

i mean not making it as a "pitchforker" basically means you have a soul and don't write absolutely atrocious bullshit at the drop of a hat

"Smashing Pumpkins" by my personal defintion ceased to exist in 2000. So on that point I agree that to continue using that name isn't doing its legacy any favors, so out of those 13 bands he listed I'd picked SP as number one, too. It's simple boring when people publish the same stuff over and over again. He wrote it ten times before. Corgan is a treasure trove to find shit to criticise, no need to endlessly repeat the same sentences. Last edited by pavementtune : 07-06-2014 at 02:22 AM. |

well, she's all defensive about the authors outlook because he's a "blogger"... While not realizing that his piece is pretty much spot on.
Just look at all of the dinosaurs in the "comments section" of the article. They're all seemingly oblivious towards how bad the newer content sucks from these bands |

Word has it that Billy Corgan's ego is so big that he recorded all of the guitars on Siamese Dream himself
