Default Johnny Rotten

I absolutely can't stand his voice. And yet he fronts two of the best bands ever. It's awesome.

PIL is one of my favorite bands ever but it's like almost despite him.
And Sex Pistols have no right to be as enjoyable as they are.

I find PIL peaked with their first single.

I seem to be i the minority of the opinion that their debut is far superior to their second

Gonna have to ring in with the popular opinion and say that their second is their best.

I AM THE DISSENTING OPINION.

It's my role.

What i meant is that i still find their best song to be Public Image. Regardless of overall records quality.

I like Savages.

But yeah, Post-Punk is my favorite thing ever. At least for the last couple years It has been.
You have to understand a lot of this 80's stuff is fresh for me. I'd never known music could be so intelligent and yet still have you dancing. And the philosophy and attitudes behind like the Goths of the time completely line up with how I've felt my whole life. It's like I've finally found somewhere where I belong. I've been given an identity.

I used to just be into 60's and 90's Rock and like Pink Floyd.
I still listen to a lot of psychedelic rock but I've grown bored of any sort of traditional heavy bluesy or grungey type band.

Half a decade isn't really much of anything. You'll see.

I really like PIL, though I'm a pretty casual fan. My intro to them was thru Hardware, a pretty underrated flick. I really fucking loathe the Sex Pistols though.

I feel like I should've grown out of calling movies "flicks" by now, but here we are.

Yeah, but damn. Five years ago feels just like yesterday to me. Like, I cannot believe 2012 is that far back in the rearview.
