after watching some of the vids from this show, i was looking around online a bit about the venue, which was in the basement of a building. it's since been demolished, but before that happened, a guy did some "urban exploring" and took pics of the inside. here's one of the stage. crazy to imagine the band in there and the atmosphere of the shows.

Very, very cool. That footage on Fruit Bat is just so radical - often have wondered about that venue. Strange how these buildings like that one evoke so much feeling, even though I never went there. Consider that page a new daily part of my at-work perusal. :P

Aug 23, 2013 at 1:45 am Reply Just so you know…”that show” was easily their worst at The Unicorn. Billy Corgan was all whiny and the band was playing a bit off and he got pissed. The place was dangerously overcrowded and the vibe that was normally “The Unicorn” wasn’t there that night. I often see people reminiscing about “that show” and have a hard time believing they were even there. |
