Not really.

America is producing more oil that anyone else in the world today (well a few months ago, more on that later). It is illegal for the US to export it though (there has within 6 months been a little change to circumvent this stupid law). So you have a glut with lowering demand.

On the other side of the world Saudi is continuing to pump oil into the market hoping t bring Russia into bankruptcy and to topple Iran's government. Russia's gas exports to Western Europe play in here too.

So you have a massive glut already here plus Saudi pumping the market even more. Chinese and Indian demand though skyrocketing isn't outpacing the supply. The Chinese economy is stagnant and slowing many economists think.

In America fracking has led to the massive increase in oil production. That's stoping quickly, to make money fracking oil needs to be north of $55. Within two months you're going to see massive layoffs and nothing at this time can stop it. My dad's had to close three plants already this month.

But hey enjoy the cheap gas everyone. It being the price it was 10 years or whatever ago is completely natural.

for us poor people it is hard to look at the big picture. saving $50 a month is a big deal to me.

Certainly, but cheap gas just leads to more poor people unfortunately. It needs to sit around $2.80-$3/gallon for a decent equilibrium IMO.

The only time you even need the manuals is for that one guy in every group that wants to challenge the DM on everything.

The books always intimidate new players like "Look at all these rules!" but really the whole game is basically "roll a d20 and add modifiers" and then a bunch of exceptions

I wanted to write my own d20 based system because I always DM and usually have to teach people the system which requires knowing it really well and there's always broken shit anyway.

i play 5 because it's new and i do like it so far, i played 4 which got old pretty quick. i only know about 2 because of baldursgate never played it

i was supposed to DM a 3.5 campaign but i always knew it really enabled special snowflakes and when they were coming up with characters i was just like "nope, fuck this, i'm not doin it."

i figure if i don't have an idea what your class is by telling me what it's called then it's stupid and fuck you

also multiclassing should be a mix of two. that's it. yes limits, i don't want you gaming the system with your fucking idiot character

But the broken insanity and customization is what I like about it, and usually the player who does nothing but try to game the system is the first to have an unfortunate "accident" and nobody at the table complains

Yeah I know what you mean. It's like "This is not a competetive game, it's a collaborative story and you're making it suck"

well they arent competitive, we've had those (don't invite Spike, to borrow MtG lingo, into a D&D game) but the other guys are deliberately to fuck my plan up they think it's the object of the game

I'm not worried because at my level nothing makes a difference. From where i stand anyone who can OWN a car is rich. Richer than me anyway.

So if gas is lower, shouldn't the price of food go down?

hahahahah...riight....

the trend of giving you less food at the same price will surely keep going. I like how they disguise it with repackaging. Look, new more eco friendly package! Then you look at grams...so i lost 50g...you made the packaging smaller (hence surely more cost efficient)....and,..... you still charge me the same......hmmm.... im sure somehow somewhere it makes sense right...
