bottom line is this: Saudi Arabia et al is gonna let gas go as low as it can and not care -- they have billions of gallons left to drill (if you believe their scientists and their US collaborators) and they wanna make it 100% impossible for the US to make a living fracking and shaling et al

going 6 months or so without a car was pretty nice, sure i didn't really leave the city for more or less all of that time but for a very "driver-based" town i made my way around with a free bike i got from the side of a dumpster pretty well

p.s. gas over here is a few cents more per gallon than a pack of gum atm

last time i told him "gas hasn't been cheaper since the clinton administration so either you're really bad at money management or you want to play destiny" no response.

in fact it occurs to me i know a couple guys who rely on the "i don't have gas money" excuse to try and get rides from people or skip out on things and they're still sticking to it, meaning that it was fuckin bullshit the whole time
