yeah i think sp fans are generally masochistic. how can ya not be with billy being king sadist to people who adore him. it is the same old same old. which is nice too.

i think the monte obsession is that uberfans see him as a spokesperson and cant stand him as much as all of us used to except now he is jus more visible on twitter and things like that. the guy really is retarded an hopefully someone makes a documentary about him and billy someday, much like the "i think we're alone now" doc about these crazies obsessed with jennifer love hewitt and tiffany. he is still the king of not just typos but actual brain fart poetry. you can actual see how he thinks when he says something like "sneak peak at new album".

i moved to portland for a year or so before i developed lung tumors/non cancerous bronchial things and got pneumonia and almost died. moved back to slc to get em removed. worked in germany for half a year maybe? remotely and for weeks at a time in karlshrue. i left the game industry, last game i worked om was happy action theater. stuff i did in germany was all augmented reality stuff. back in slc and got into audio engineer interning and worked at a studio, started school.. im doing lots of art now and music. mostly commissioned but also giving away lots of pieces. biggest thing so far was doing a book cover. just kinda struggling at the moment with other shit but otherwise just living hard/killing time.

i will bang on your door if i make it to ny. ive been due to male a trip to the east to see a lot of people, mostly to meet my niece who is a couple years old and havent met yet.

travel is the best! i appreciate people who want to get out, leave and keep seeing new things. i wish i could travel all the time. i still want to visit every state, everwhere in south america, go back and live in japan, travel europe and china on a motorcycle. it would be so cool to get a job doing just that, one of those foodie shows. so jealous of all the guys who got gigs doing that.

yeah i do lots of logos, lettering, band flyers, lots of painting though and getting more into wanting to do murals and bigger things. i make tons of sharpie drawigs with their oil pens. it all feels like practice until i get better. i suck now. i want to do photography some day again too.

i hadnt heard of that guy but i am looking at his website now! are you doing something with photoraphy still? are you in the depths of nyc? loving it? where do you want to move to next?

Totally, totally agree about travel.
Thankfully I travel a lot for work now (I do commercial and art photography full-time). Have been very fortunate these past few years with this, have traveled all over the US and Canada for jobs -- the past year especially has been nuts, back to back travel for months. And the real perk, of course, is that everything is paid for.
Some guys I know do it much more, too, the guys that mostly do fashion. They're back and forth between NY, LA, Paris, London constantly. Some of them complain about it and I make a point to scold them. Crazy to not be grateful for this.
