i dunno if its true but my doc said wellebutrin was just a variant of lexapro. worth looking into beause all i got from lexapro was negative side effects like weight gain and limp dick and shakeu hands.

the buterin has some bad side effects for me. tinnitus/ringing in the ears is the worst for me. and tingly extremities sometimes. and i often wake up just to take a dose and sometimes i feel like its the one thread that gets me through a day. like having blinders on.

i am no doctor. but yeah the generic name is bupropion hydrochloride.

i was on wellbutrin specifically for the lack of sexual side effects. it worked well for a while, but then i lost my insurance and had to start taking generics which made me irritable and the depression worse.

ive been back on it a month after a 2 year hiatus. i got bad enough i asked my parents for help just getting me a one month supply. otherwise i think i wouldve killed myself last month. im not sure what to do about next month.

the once a day xl didnt work well for me. ther generic xr twice a day variant works alright for me but i think that might be what causes the tinnitus. it drives me crazy. the ringing.

that is interesting. i remember all last year my tinnitus was particularly bad and i thought it was just because i played in a metal band without earplugs. i never attributed the heightened awareness to the buproprion.

tinnitus sucks.

i take bupropion instant release and sustained release. half the lowest dose of instant and the lowest does SR in the morning. it's a good medicine.

i tried to take it years ago and it made my anxiety unbearable, but now it helps a lot. basically it just works as a stimulant for me. it's basically the topper to my med cocktail. last thing i got put on.
