yeah yeah i know. but no stat is going to tell the whole story.

he has a strong arm that is serviceably accurate and he's always a threat to run. i'm not trying to be a dick to i'm hardcore here, but the "LOL 164 AGAINST THE JAGUARS" comment makes it seem like he's new to football. i don't see a reason to trust his eye test. that's all. i mean how many QBs in the league would you rather have? a solid handful. but not all that many.

I've been waiting for a year to see the Steelers pick up Haha Clinton-Dix. Gonna be balls deep in his jersey if they do.

Well, yeah I do want to call that a starting QB. Come on, that diseased giraffe Glennon is okay, but you can't tell me Tebow wouldn't get better results for just as cheap.

i looked a few mocks when you said that and they all have him 4 or below

bridgewater and the UCF guy seem to be 1 and 2 with manziel pretty solidly 3

kiper is over the hill and always wrong i thought

honestly after this season from rivers i'm not sure if eli manning is really that clearly better than him

i pretty much decided that playoff and especially super bowl wins are meaningless since the giants have 2

it's an organizational achievement, not "QB GOOD BECUZ PLAYOF WINZ" espn simplification

Last edited by Trotskilicious : 01-23-2014 at 09:52 PM. Reason: had to clarify mannings, we all know payton is better than everyone put together

I completely agree. It's like they're being sabotaged.

i feel bad for the coaches they hire it's like yeah you get this on your resume but people figure if the browns settled for you to be their HC for a year, you must be a coordinator at best.

I'd think being associated with that organization in any way would be a brown mark on your resume. They're basically paying someone to ruin his or her career.

Either they find someone desperate or they just grab some Texas high school football coach. Regardless I'm hoping for another 2 free wins for the Steelers.

see if i was in charge i'd find a guy that gets a good reaction from the youts and then i'd just keep him until i know what kind of talent i have, i mean they just fire guys left and right like that has no effect on anything or they have expectations beyond trying to win at least 6 games, it's so sad

seriously what did chud do to get fired? coach the browns. "Well the team sucked." OF COURSE IT SUCKS

I'd think any head coaching contract should last 3 years minimum, big fuckups aside, just so you can actually measure how the team developed from the start. But what do I know. The Deelers look at coaching differently. Tomlin's job is more secure than anyone's in the entire sport, including groundskeepers, towel boys, and coaches' sons on elementary school teams.

Anyhow, Pettine doesn't seem Brown-level awful. Guy's got his shit cut out for him.

steelers are one of the best run organizations in the history of sport, and they even put other teams in the same city to shame. while the pirates are whining about being a small market the steelers enjoy national popularity and consistent relevance

that can dry up like a turd in the sun though see; Radiers, Oakland and Los Angeles
