I was talking with a vet who was in Gulf war I and both battles in Fallujah a week ago who was telling me about the drug trials they put him and other soldiers on back then. He's still suffering from the side effects of some experimental drugs/combinations. Anyway... he was telling me about his desensitization training in regards to people in the middle east and how they are brainwashed into believing they are sub humans, and that they are not worthy of living, and that they all need to die .... wipe them out so that a "clean space" can be made for decent humans. (It reminded me of some of what my uncle described to me when he was in Vietnam and his training)

He was saying that he felt that over the last decade, most Americans have also been desensitized in a way to what is taking place in the middle east and the people who live there.... and don't really care if the people live or die.... or if they suffer, etc. A lot of people tend to see all of them as terrorists, even their children... as potential terrorists who deserve to die.

To a degree, I see this in a lot of people...over the years.. . their cynical and apathetic attitude, because they don't feel it matters or it affects them in some way. Why should I care? They live over there... let them all die in a fire etc. Or that all of these people in the middle east are grouped as terrorists, suicide bombers, who hate America.

A lot of this desensitiziation started after 9/11 with Bush... "they hate our freedom" "they want to destroy America" "axis of evil" ..... and when you reflect back on that time period..... think about how many times a day you hear the word terrorism, or terrorist on the news. Over the past decade the lives of these people has been somewhat devalued. And they are devalued when Obama orders drone strikes that kills children..... women, entire families. They are terrorists, so who cares..... they deserve to all die. Collateral damage.... let's just move on.

The other day, there was a group of protestors in town protesting against striking in Syria... and I heard people yelling at them to go home, and "let's bomb the shit out of t****.

There are some out there still postulating Obama is a force of good and will yet pull the rug out from under the cabal at some point. The upcoming vote in congress said to be the 'outing' of any of those who vote for an attack and risk being viewed as traitors.

The most out there theory I've come across is its the Tall Whites doing the gassing in Syria and that an ET war is what's really erupting in the region. *shrugs* I'll stick to what's tangible but I don't discount the possibility because the history of high level geopolitical events seems to meet up with an exopolitical bent.
