i've said it before and i'll say it again, michigan is by far the most stupidly hostile place to be for visiting teams.

Also not sure why they're so hurt by being taken off the schedule. Sorry the big ten is awful. Not Notre Dame's fault.

I will miss having ND as a guaranteed quality opponent for UM. It did add legitimacy to U of M's schedule. I agree with Drew Sharp of the Detroit Free Press that Michigan will need to replace ND with another big-name school.

I would say that yes right now the acc is better. The big ten is really bad these days. And regardless, ND will only play 5 ACC games and will still be playing USC and Stanforf and MSU every year. They have Texas coming up. OU again this year. ND doesn't need Michigan to make a schedule that isn't a joke. Michigan needs ND. That's why they're so bitter I think.

Then why are they playing MSU? MSU is typically a weaker team than Michigan. and i can't believe that playing MSU gets them more viewers on TV.

Because they've played MSU every single year forever. Same with Purdue and Navy.

I would like to drop Purdue but it's not too terrible to have one bad team thrown in every year. Better than scheduling Akron.

Because the TV contracts are a huge part of the business. I agree, though, about Purdue. Kind of a pointless game. I've always thought that the MSU game was more of a rivalry for MSU than it was for ND. MSU has a built in inferiority complex, though. Every team they think they have a rivalry with cares a hell of a lot less about it than they do. Ask an MSU fan about the UofM game and they'll say it's the most important game of the season. Ask a UofM fan and they'll say the Ohio game is.

Michigan stole that game (should've also been 10 more seconds). They must suuuuuuuuuuck.

Refs missed the spot, took away 10 seconds and missed two PI calls on the last play. That shit always happens in Ann Arbor.
