i don't think you actually "enjoy" anything. it's always some calculated ironic gesture or lifestyle choice

edit: did you watch it on videotape

i don't have a video collection or tv or vcr anymore and what i do still have videotape-wise is in storage. the thing i hoard now is the dollar-bin soundtracks to these movies i would normally buy. i get to hear a lot of new music that way and i usually screencap the credits sequence while watching the movie to get more detailed artist info.

Hello noyen it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

josh brolin was also in hollow man

what the hell kind of criteria for a good movie is that

robert deniro was the taxi driver and eddie murphy was beverly hills cop, that must mean showtime is a masterpiece

so - first world problems but this release has a different soundtrack than what was advertised so i have to try and return it. i have mp3s of the soundtrack version wanted so i had spend 2 hours editing an audio patch that is synched to the narration long story short i can't flip through the video i have to watch from beginning to end.

Dog Day Afternoon

9/10

how progressive was this movie in the 70s? great acting, lots of improvisation i'd assume. only a couple sets and it's basically 90% pacino through the whole thing. awesome movie.

The Lone Ranger - 7 / 10 solid film; very entertaining at times; not nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be

Jack Reacher - 9/10: probably the best film Cruise has done since Collateral back in '04

Parker - 7/10: not as good as Mel Gibson's Payback or Point Blank from the 60s but solid enough entertainment

Broken City - 8/10: surprisingly good; didn't think Wahlberg was capable of doing something this good

The Silent Partner - 9/10: my first foray into classic period Elliott Gould; very good; Christopher Plummer is frightening

Elliott Gould is awesome. Seeing the Silent Partner actually makes me want to revisit that whole era of film. I want to see Straw Dogs, California Split, The Long Goodbye and Klute.
