My best friend is loud and opinionated. But he doesn't have my looks which I also honestly think give me an advantage regardless of my personality. From things people have said to me it seems like they expect me to have a lot of success with ladies because of the way I look and so I end up kind of disappointing them or surprising them at times.

I never went to cafes alone to hang out, I went either to get a coffee and smoke a couple of cigarettes, or else to do my reading for uni, so that I could drink coffee and smoke cigarettes while I did it. They've banned smoking at cafes in New Zealand now though, and here in Australia too I think.

I went to a femnazi all girls high school so we didn't often think about what we were supposed to do.

Looks aren't everything...the best looking boys we knew were either gay or boring, in the end. Wit is as attractive as looks for a guy. We're judging not just your genes but also your learned skills that will allow you to provide amply for our offspring, ya know.

I met a girl at a party two weeks ago, we talked a bunch which was nice because I didn't know anyone there, but we didn't really seem to have much in common. She's pretty cute though and I appreciated not being left to wander around by myself. Next day she friends me on facebook and has since continued to carry on conversations via facebook messaging. I was hoping at this point she would get the signal that I was not going to ask her on a date, but she seems pretty persistent. I wish human mating behavior was not so complicated.
