i gotta give it to the obama campaign i thought swiftboating romney this summer as the evil outsourcing bain guy would be a thud but it ended up working out. not a slam dunk or anything but it doesnt look like it will go away

well his unfavorability ratings are way up there and he's still projected to lose even after the omgz amazing debate perfprmance. kind of hard to think that image of him had nothing to do with it

It's absolutely repulsive how the W campaign smeared the guy who actually went to Vietnam. That's a pretty poor comparison to make with Bain's gutting of businesses and outsourcing of American jobs, which has less to do with his opposition's characterization of him and more to do with the reality of how a firm like Bain Capital actually makes its money.

i dont think what they did to kerry equals the bain attacks. i just think both are similar in that they attacked the oppenent early before most voters had an opinion of the candidate. people like us knew who romney was for 5+ years but most of joe schmoe america just now found out

I'm not even sure how to respond. Why does talking about an objective reality make me a parrot? We're talking about an undisputed fact here, and unless you're arguing in favor of Bain Capital's practices then you're a parrot as well. If that's the case, then reveal yourself and I'll respond "you do realize you're a parrot for _______ campaign's narrative, right? I mean you might be making true statements but _______ made the same statement, so you're his puppet, you get that, right dude?"

To be completely honest, I am not familiar with the Obama campaign's specific narrative. I don't care enough about it personally. I have my own perspective.
