i don't know, i never took much interest in this issue
i'm gonna go with fried
i think some aspects of morality have developed with human evolution. not all, but some.
my favorite color...probably yellow at the moment

It seems like Charmbag is solidifying herself as the realest person on here. So often I get the vibe that everyone is putting up some sort of weird and unnecessary front on here and it's why I am posting less/trying to post less. Good stuff in this thread.

I only have one question. What the biggest motivator in your life?

I think right now the biggest motivator for me is to find some regularity, stability and a strong sense of direction in my life.

It's funny when you have a fleeting moment where you think you have a solid direction in life and how calming everything feels at that moment. I do have another question. You mentioned you dislike how competitive you are. What are you competitive about? I ask because I'm highly competitive too and I find it fun. I love the adrenaline rush.

that is a great feeling. and honestly it's more a question of what i'm not competitive about. as soon as I recognize a certain trait to be considered valuable, i start feeling that competitiveness. the biggest ones would probably be intelligence, appearance and artistic ability. I've been touchy about all three since I was little. I agree that it does give me a certain rush but it bites me in the ass being so approval-oriented.

Taking into your view of men and relationships, it seems to me it's be emotionally difficult to maintain a romantic relationship or even allow for intimate situations.

Has your worldview altered your dating or sexual life in any significant way? This is in no way attacking you, and if it's out of bounds just ignore it entirely.

yeah it's a problem. but funnily enough I've been pretty consistent in my life in terms of not really actively seeking out romantic relationships. although now I figure I could well be on the path to spinsterdom. it's not for lack of interest, I just have certain expectations that are rarely met. in many cases, feminism has more put words to feelings I've always had rather than changing my mind. "dating" per se is awful to me because it sets up men and women to lock into the predetermined hetero roles which seems to make people act completely idiotic and it's off-putting. but I haven't committed to political lesbianism or anything like that just yet.
