Yea, there are no portions of the Bible that are song or poetry or personal letter or history. It must all be literal documentary

Just like the ones on Netflix

If you interview 4 people who were at the twin towers during 9/11 I bet you'd get four slightly varying stories where people pay attention to and recall different details. Doesn't mean it didn't happen- in fact, it suggests there wasn't a conspiracy.

People who conspire and redact the record and "systematically destroy" opposing evidence have 100% synchronized stories... and people who don't know what they're talking about don't line up 98% of the time
I honestly have no idea what you are talking about.

The point I was making was that interpretation of a text can vary wildly and what it means to be a "Christian" can be defined in a lot more ways than Catholicism or any other denomination claims it can. Give a man who has never heard of Christianity the Bible, and what he gets out of it could likely be totally different than what we are trained to associate Christianity with by way of 2000 years of stacked up dogma

Like I said, not really sure what you are talking about

Yeah polysci was 1/2 of mine too, but I didn't go international with it. I enjoyed it at the time but I'm pretty cynical about it these days

the US government/policy stuff was boring to me after the 100 level, and I knew I wasn't going into public policy or anything, so I took a bunch of IR classes. They were all extremely fascinating and informed me a great deal. Not really applicable to finding work but I honestly don't care... I'm going to go into education, so my undergrad makes no difference. I learned so much and enjoyed it so much that it is hard for me to regret it. If I had majored in something lucrative I'm actually pretty sure I just would have dropped out.

You're just jealous that you only pick up dimwits, Pitchfork Reader Byron Barnes

I did my other major in Neuroscience, which made sense because I was going into medicine, but I always had the public health bug. But our national "discourse" on healthcare reform was one of the most depressing things I've seen. I wish I did more IR than polysci and studied abroad

You would think you could convince folks with that line of argumentation, but everyone seems to cite their own contradictory statistics in that dept
