the other day at the food pantry this guy was all "people who have X shouldnt be here, they shouldnt get free food, blah blah blah" and about how people are scamming the food bank for canned goods they ship to haiti (?! what an idiot). i just wanted to say who the fuck are you to decide who is worthy of being here you fucking jackass. just cause people aren't in rags and have shaved their face doesnt mean they're too good to need help. but i just handed him his bag of vegetables and he probably thinks i'm a rich person or something

you keep asking everyone else why they think they are worthy of judging who should be getting what but you hold yourself to a different standard as you are absolute in your beliefs of who should get what and anyone who disagrees with you is an asshole

dont know where you see hypocrisy in that - or judgment. it's a distinct lack of judging.

obviously there has to be rules. no one likes standing in food lines and to say (m)any people would do it if they didnt have to - well, i disagree with that. everyone has to pass income guidelines and it's under about 1150 a month gross income in my county.
