I don't know what prompted this, but I was witness to an old person virtually left for dead in sub-freezing weather on the street by English paramedics and was instructed by them to carry him a mile to his house because they couldn't be bothered. They also yelled at me for calling an ambulance for him. This, of course, after arriving over an hour and fifteen minutes after I called them.
