I don't remember any negativity about those songs during that period.

2002-2005 was probably my most disconnected from the SP fan community, but even I remember Billy getting more praise on those songs than he would EVER get from TheFutureEmbrace.

I, as well as my best friend were at the Chicago songs show at the Metro & though it's been a long time since I've heard them, I'll tell you this. I was mesmerized by the atmosphere of my favorite artist baring his soul like that, recounting the memories made living in his beloved Chicago.

Also: I remember thinking ''God damn! This dude really is a genius guitar player.

I may get shit for this but his finger picking and emotive skills reminded me of the late, great Elliot Smith.

One of the best musical memories of my life, you guys.

I mean it's a little overlong but I think it shows a musical maturity that he shit all over when it came time to write Zeitgeist.
