today- paper source for a project, logans hardware (record/arcade shop), arturo's tacos, and then home. we're thinking of making logans hardware an every friday thing. : )

saturday - 8:30am bootcamp, eye exams, had ikea plans to get shelving but it would take a large chunk out of our day... straight chillin, i guess.

sunday- brunch with deb (maybe geo).

arturo's is about a ten minute walk from us (i've said too much) but i will keep that in mind. the chips there weren't that great but lots of restaurants don't care enough about the quality of their chips.

you're probs from the rich part of chicago so this isn't really your turf. i'm less conspicuous, i think. this area reminds me a lot of where i grew up (oak cliff) and i really like it.

are they in the same building? there is a huge LAZO'S sign but when we walk into the entrance at the corner it says Arturo's on the menus and junk.

yeah they're in the same building, right next to each other.

lazo's is bigger and has a lot more seating. and tom tells me there's another one right next to lazo's but i am not familiar with whatever that is. he says no one goes there.

It was my husband's birthday today. We took the kids out to a fairly awful family restaurant and after the kids were in bed I sent him out for champagne. He picked awful champagne but it was his birthday and he didn't mind.

Tomorrow we have rehearsal, and soccer for the elder son. I'm going to a new mummy friend's house to look at stampin' up stuff. Sunday we have church then if the weather is nice we'll go to the beach in the afternoon and I'll go for a swim. We've got friends coming over for dinner and bible study Sunday evening.

when I was at high school the first year was called third form and the rest of the years called you a turd because it was derogatory and sounded a bit like third.

But it was the fourth formers that were the hardcore nasty pieces of work. Something happens to 14 year old girls, all cloistered away together, wearing the same uniform. We went feral or something, just for a year.

took the last of my stuff to storage and realized my gortex pants are missing

banking and monies
cleaned up netbook/updated ipod etc
got travelers insurance
and a burrito
pizza and shitty movie with some homies

now i have nothing left to do but pack and get on the plane
