Default Is Billy racist?

How come there are no black people in the Smashing Pumpkins?

1 lead singer
3 official drummers (Matt Walker being 3)
4 bass players
2 guitar players
= 10 official members

None black.

Where was Billy in the past few weeks, hmmmmmmmmmm?

The new album? Sounds like the drum beats of oppression to me.

Ever been to a rock concert? Not many black people there! For whatever reason, rock music just never caught on all that well with black people, it seems. That is of course a bit ironic considering rock music's roots...

WHITE DEVIL took black music and took every black element out. no wonder they're not too keen on it.

Billy isn't racist, he once collaborated with Jazzy Jeff.

Of course there are SOME black people who like rock music...but their numbers are not commensurate with the actual percentage of the population they represent (ie % of people in a room full of 1000 blacks who consider rock their favorite musical style < % of people in a room full of 1000 white who consider rock their favorite musical style.) I've been to plenty of rock concerts completely free of any black person, anywhere (except on the security staff, of course) in a room of 3,000. On a few occasions I saw ONE black person. In highschool I went to a majority-minority school and I knew ONE black kid who was into rock music - everyone knew who he was because it really was looked upon as a bit of an anomaly and he hung with our group of mostly white kids. I should add that his mother was of Afro-caribbean heritage so his cultural background was also perhaps rather different to that of the large percentage of African Americans in this country. Now I can imagine that if you went into a young, urban, eclectic neighborhood in some parts of the country that musical preferences might start to look somewhat less segregated but it is not that way here.

Really? I graduated in 2003. If things have changed then that is pretty cool but again most neighborhoods seem depressingly re-segregated these days and so do social cultures. Maybe I don't understand what the young people like these days? One day I saw a group of black kids in a Hot Topic at the mall, and they had the whole goth thing going on, and I thought to myself, "wow, that is quite something...". I don't recall really having seen that sort of thing except recently. I've also witnessed a number of these youths using skateboards in my neighborhood and apparently embracing the whole "skater culture" as well which is really interesting to me. It did not seem particularly existent a decade ago.

Can we make a list of all the terrible things corgan has done lately? I had to come back just to rip on him. It's really quite cathartic and almost all my facebook friends couldnt give 2 shits about what a fuckin idiot bily corgan is.

so anyway the list

1. homophobic internet rant LOL internet is forever billy
2. this t shirt (seriously, cringe, cringe a million times cringe)
3. someone said something in the monte goes to gay camp thred about billy ripping on a fan or something. did this actually happen recently where billy acted like a total fuckhead to one of his fans publicly? that would seem pretty believable
4. i dunno, fill in the blank here ____________ ive been up all night and my brain is racked for anything else

for me it really started to become clear what people were talking about all those years, about how billy corgan was a complete piece of shit. it all started on july 3 2007 at the orange peel. i think that was the 3rd residency show but the only one that we had tickets to. we were there pretty early, ended up 2nd row in front of the sexy tiny bass player, really close to center stage within 10 feet id say. show had a great vibe they killed a bunch of the classics early including starla and tonight tonight and then around that time his (billys) amp busted. show stopped for 5-10 minutes. billy didtn say anything to indicate "oh my god im super fucking pissed" but it was so ... fucking... obvious that he was just going to ruin the rest of the show for everyone, because he is a fucking cunt. the rest of the night there was a shitty vibe. at one point they did a 2nd acoustic set like halfway through, and they were playign a bunch of new songs no one fucking knew and they were pretty fucking lame. we were all qiuet and attentive in the front of course, but all the people in the back of the club were chatting up a storm, probably because they were locals who just got there and didnt give a fuck about that billy corrigan guy. well mr. corrigan had enough of that! after one acoustic song where the talking was reeeeeeeeeeeal fucking loud, he stops and asks jimmy if he thinks asheville is tired of them (like i said, 3rd residency show, *maybe the 4th) and then billy makes some nonsensical proclamation about how "if youre with us, we will go over there" (points vaguely to the left "and if youre not we will go over here" (points vaguely to the right) sorry i dont remember it word for word but like i said IT MADE NO FUCKING SENSE. it was fucking rubbish. then i think his amp broke..again... also he scowled at me for checking out the hot bass players ass. oh, sorry mr. corrigan, shes wearing silver sparkly pants and shes got her ass pointed right at my face. im not supposed to look? after the show when he had normally been coming out to talk to all the fucking losers who hung out after the show, instead he looks over at the 25-30 of us dumb enough to wait around, shakes his head, and walks over to his suv. thanks billy. now you might be thinking, oh youre just bitter because he didnt come talk to you assholes after the show. no not really, because if he had come out and talked to us he probably would have said something so egotistical and insensitive that id hate his ass even more than i already do. i just think hes a fuckin idiot and this t shirt and his homophobic e fighting are two really shining examples of what a fuckin fuck this guy is

sorry this was so fucking long\\\

oh yeah in another thread someone said how well he is aging, LOL go see him up close and look at his fucking face, man. and this was 5 years ago

fuck me just realized i posted this in the wrong thread, i meant to post it in the thread about the awful fuckign wresting t shirt sorry
