Smelling good

Do any of you wear perfume or scent of any kind? Have a favorite shampoo for this? Laundry detergent?

I'm a fiend for perfume. My all-time favorite is probably CdG Carnation. Smells like spicy carnations. My next purchase will probably be either Apothia Velvet Rope (smells like grapefruits tobacco and gin) or PdF Florentia 24 which is just a light green rosy floral.

If you don't, what are some smells you like? Besides the obvious ones like gasoline and coffee...

This is kinda lame, I know, but I've always really liked hilfiger's cologne. As a sidenote you read jitterbug perfume by Robbins?

The perfume I've been using for a while now is Burberry Beat. I originally got it as a present, but I liked it enough that I bought more when it ran out.

I recently had this awesome Arm & Hammer laundry detergent that smelt really nice. When I ran out, the store didn't have that scent anymore, and unfortunately I've already forgotten the name of the scent. The scent I replaced it with is way too strong and not as good.

i've been complimented several times by women about how i smell good and it's usually just a combination of old spice fresh aftershave, old spice denali deoderant, marijuana and cigarettes.

any time i use my polo cologne nobody ever says i smell good. they just ask me if i'm wearing cologne :-\

that makes sense. sometimes the cheap, simple, mundane stuff is best. and the way it all comes together differently for every person and every skin chemistry is pretty fascinating.

I like peach scented stuff. I've been told I smell like fruity gum and weed, but I stopped chewing gum. My current spray is a bit too sweet, cotton candy I think.

Past few years it seems every time I finally get comfortable with a deodorant they stop making it or I cant find it anymore. Currently stuck with some speed stick fresh thing.

i used magnolia from l'occitane for a while but it was discontinued.

my old roommate also gave me a bottle of daisy by marc jacobs that i finished.

this stuff is the best, i think. actually i just looked and i have the "regular" kind. but i think it's subtle and nice.

i have some colognes i've gotten as gifts over the past couple years. a D&G one and a Coach one and a few tiny Burberry ones. i don't wear them often but they're pretty nice too.... kinda hard to tell if they work though because the only one who compliments me on my smell is MY BOYFRIEND and he could just be being nice. heh.

it's too expensive to justify buying it for myself but i dunno i kinda want more of it. i ran out like three years ago and still remember really liking it.

some people seem to think cologne is a lame gift but i think it's usually a pretty solid idea.

I love Old Spice because of my dad. I always thought it smelt the best when I was a kid, and the smell still makes me happy.
