it's narcissism it's just different degrees of it in different people and isn't necessarily unhealthy

if we're talking things like getting narcissistic supply on the board, i'm not really sure who you are hinting at order 66

and yeah, can definitely be a narcissist and self deprecating. usually there's some cycling involved between false self love and self hate but otherwise if it's done in a way that might endear someone to them some wouldn't have a problem being self deprecating

IRL it is easy to pick out narcissists if you are around them much. no matter what is going on, they have to be the center of attention. and if they are not, they will throw a fit or otherwise manipulate the situation until they are.

not 100% of the time but i guarantee if you look for it you will notice it in some people

edit: center of attention is the wrong phrase (although accurate a lot of the time). more like in control of the room overtly or covertly

actually its been awhile since anybody got 'narcissistic supply' from the board itself. there used to be a slew of female posters here who'd get off on making all about them but they've moved on

i think when you're posting from an angle where its about yourself, and repeatedly, that's a narcissistic poster. sorry i'd name names but i like most of them on a personal level and don't want to start anymore INTARNET RIVALRIES in my time here. if you take an objective look at the content of the board regulars, it speaks for itself
