Default What is your Myers-Briggs type?

Here's a decent online test that isn't super long: http://similarminds.com/jung.html

I'm an INFP (borderline INTP; all of my other traits are strong)

there is way more to this than the type codes - in fact the four digit code is just the beginning - but here's some quick characteristics: http://www.similarminds.com/jung/infp.html

yeah your type shouldn't change but often seems to on tests because one tends to answer what they've been doing lately

i'm honestly not all that depressed, if you are talking to me about that, i just think it's interesting. not trying to complain or anything.

lol the last thing i linked though. i didn't realize it had virtually no good characteristics for infps except smart/creative

actually it's not at all what a myers-briggs test should look like.
my ex studied psychometry and had extensive knowledge of personality tests.
we were both INFP and it was a bad match.

i tried it, i find it very hard to answer the questions.
and in the end I got... INFP, but I might have been influenced because some of the questions are too obviously worded.

we didn't have a horrible time but the relationship could only deterioate over time because conflict was always avoided thus non-existent.
whereas with a girl who's extraverted, we can argue for fuck's sake and never hold a grudge at the end of the day.

nah i've always thought bc was an enfj

i am infj. best relationship was/is with an istp. worst was with an enfj.

mbti is okay but there is something wrong with the N/S aspect. aside from the whole system being obviously N-biased the labels themselves are bad for what they describe (how we take in information) and regardless i think most people fluctuate between them so much it is difficult to classify strictly as one or the other.

yes the labels are horrible, especially T/F which is not at all what people think it is

studying the functions though, like differences between extroverted and introverted intuition or feeling, for example, is a lot more precise than the type code.

so i might only be one letter away from INFJ but INFPs and INFJs are totally different, mainly because their main functions are inverse (Fi and Ne as opposed to Fe and Ni for INFJs)

and i barely use either sensing function

as for bc, yes he's definitely an infj or enfj - those are the two i go between

some people surely fluctuate more than others but those with strong tendencies in certain things can readily see their type all the time. for example i have almost no judging tendencies and can see how different that is than most people that are more balanced. it is a very obvious preference. same with N/S as i barely use sensing functions like i said. of course everyone uses every function but generally i do not notice what is in front of me and do not take part in the present moment as it happens

i'm glad there's people on here interested in this. i really thought it was just me and catherine wheel and maybe gossamer
