Oh shit, I forgot to post about that. It was FUCKING AMAZING. It is hands down the best meal I've had since I ate at Bonsoirée in Chicago last winter.

Highlight of the meal was probably uchiviche (salmon, striped bass, tomato, bell pepper, garlic, and cilantro served cold). Everything I had was amazing though. I need to get a rich man to take me back.

Awesome! I think we're going next Saturday after all, kind of hard not to go really. To be honest I'm most excited to get to J Mueller's new bbq trailer. His old place was unbelievably good. And an added bonus, his line isn't 1 hour+ long even an hour before opening like at Franklins.

Random fun fact. Yesterday I went to have margaritas with two girls from my class, and one of their boyfriends joined us. Turns out his aunt owns The Salt Lick, so now I'm craving bbq so bad. Good news is he said he can hook it up.

Last time I ate at Salt Lick it flat-out sucked. I was pissed. :/ The sides have never been that good, but even the lean brisket was dried out, such a bummer.

Salt Lick's bread is awesome, but the cash only policy is frustrating. They really need a drink menu, too.
