Default The Pre & Post tKoL-Era Radiohead EP

I've finally gotten a hold of a mp3 of The Daily Mail so I've decided to arrange all of the released separate tracks for the era in the above title under one unified title for categorizing in itunes.

1. These Are My Twisted Words
2. Butcher
3. Supercollider
4. Harry Patch (In Memory of)
5. The Daily Mail

Flows like water. A nice little mini album to go along with The King of Limbs.

I like tracks 1, 2, 3 and 5. The rest don't do much for me, though I don't get the hate for Feral. It doesn't have lyrics I guess? A friend of mine who is a big Radiohead fan compared it to Pullk/Pull Revolving Doors, but I fucking love that song, and that's widely ridiculed too. Maybe I like the more layered, busy stuff Radiohead do than simple and stripped back.

The King of Limbs is pure brilliance. Its borderline their best album. Art in the purest form. It put them above the beatles for me in a historical ranking.

i still don't really 'get' king of limbs (but i havent listened to it outside of work, maybe with headphones and blunt i can come around). it'd make more sense as a follow up to the eraser or one part of another album or albums.

but then again maybe they just don't give a shit about "albums" anymore. i can dig that i guess

Smoke and lay down in your bed in the dark at the end of the day and listen to tKoL with some headphones on. Then you'll realize how remarkable of an album it is. So many different parts going off and doing their own thing yet at the same time coming together and working together to make the song.

King of Limbs sounds like a continuation of or sequel to The Eraser which I liked a lot. At times it sounds a lot like IDM. Some of it reminds me of Telefon Tel Aviv.

Bloom and Lotus Flower are as good as anything on Kid A or Amnesiac.
