i'm posting via a proxy right now because my home IP is suddenly banned

this morning, i went to log in via my home internet and got a message:

"vBulletin Message
Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here"

that's a good question. the only thing that I can think of is that it's dynamic (and there's some other netphorian in this town, who got banned, natch). I did just move in two weeks ago, so no accounting for what happened before

i do known spam ips all the time. did a couple yesterday. so it could be related. but this sounds like it's probably a dynamic ip issue from something earlier. maybe not. NIMROD IS ON THE CASE.
