Default Is it wrong that I have a handful of cash riding on the All-star game?

I just need to gamble

i'm a little worried about the phrase "I need to gamble"

has nothing to do with what you're betting on

Did you see the dude during the HR contest that went into the pool to catch a ball and manged to keep the ball (in his glove) and his beer above water? Play of the festivities as far as I'm concerned.

Someone with money riding on it? It's the same reason fantasy football is so great- it injects interest into a game you wouldn't normally give three shits about.

Yeah I started scanning some FF blogs last night for the first time this year. Between that and the fucking heat I'm ready for fall.

I play the Netpho draft a bit more from the hip. But my money league, man fuck my money league. I was cruising last year until Aaron Rodger's eggshell skull screwed me in the first week of the playoffs >:[ Quite a bit of money up for grabs in that league making prep a necessity.

All together about $650. My bonus this month was around $700 and I like to do silly things with found money.

Never bet on cokeheads, Mike.

Ron Washington is fucking terrible in this game. Bochy again is outmanaging him.

It's almost impossible to mismanage a game like this. Every player is great.

It's a crap shoot really. I didn't have any great insight that made me pick up Peyton Hillis other than seeing his name on blogs and not having anyone better. I mean you're playing numbers but you win because dudes come out of nowhere. Man I had Cedric Benson on my team the year before that and I was like whaaaat are you serious but he had a MONSTER year...It's about who gets carries.

Fact that we can do as many moves as we want tends to play to my advantage, I won't deny.

also someone was retarded in not picking up vick before i did, honestly why didn't i draft him it was a base assumption I knew kolb was never starting the full season from day one

i guess i didn't think vick was going to be better than he was

It will be interesting to see where he goes this year. Fuck, guy gets heaps of points every time he even sniffs the field but still can't seem to get over the urge to put himself in bad situations when it would be better for him and the team to just get the fuck down. I have to respect the balls but hate it from a FF standpoint.

Scott Rolen was an All Star. Enough said.

Washington did a piss poor job. He wasted a pitching spot by pulling Weaver when Beckett couldn't go, then instead of holding his re-entry for a time that mattered (like bring Adrian or Cano in the 9th) he wasted it earlier.

He does right now, basically. The NL is void of legit 3B with injuries though.

In the 8th, this was the AL lineup:

C: Wieters
1B: Cuddyer
2B: Kendrick
SS: Peralta
3B: Young
OF: Joyce
OF: Ellsbury
OF: Quentin
DH: Konerko
P: Gonzalez

Three, mayyyyyyybe four, of those would start in Boston/NY.

i think that says more about the sorry state of baseball and the ludicrous lengths the yankees and the red sox go than the all-star game

Ellsbury would start in BOS, Konerko would start for NYY, and I think that's about it. Of course Gio would make either rotation.
