Also, I'm trying to sign up for classes but my school's server is being a senile butthole by taking its sweet time, so this is also due to boredom.

And if you're coming to CA for some R&R or adventure, save the thread and boast about here.

If I weren't, I'd have left a long time ago. There are parts of California I loathe, but not down here.

SD is one of the nicest cities I've encountered. I wouldn't mind relocating there. btw, comic-con is coming to a location near you in a few weeks.

yeah, comic-con doesn't really catch us by surprise down here. That's going to be a busy weekend for me as I also have tickets to see Kevin Smith at the HoB on Saturday.

No way. I wonder if Kevin Smith will be doing a panel Friday or something...

I was at SDCC about three years ago. I got there on a Sunday so everything was already done with. I was mainly impressed with how much basura there is by the convention center, train, and downtown from all the fliers.

Sunday is the worst day to go. Friday and Saturday (and Thursday to a lesser extent) are the days to be there.

I love ComiCon thanks to all the movie cosplay costumer folks. Like, I was next to a brown twi'lek who was mistaken for a sith, and she got super pissed because she was indeed in the Jedi force. She proceeded to swing her lightsaber around. Mind blowing.
