Well the figure head Bin Laden was chilling up in the caves of Afghanistan when we launched our war there. i'm conflicted about bush's decision to strike afghanistan. in some ways i feel it was the right thing to do, in some ways i don't. i don't think it was as egregious as, say, iraq or vietnam

See, this is a really good example.

The first sentence is horrible. The second sentence is horrible, in part because people do bitch about it. The third point is horrible because it is wrong as well as callous.

It destroyed that country even more for basically no reason. The Bush administration was willing to risk half a million civilian casualties for no better reason than revenge. It also significantly increased the threat of future terrorist attacks. I don't really think this war has too much of a grey area.
