i've never watched an episode in its entirety because I can't stand sitcoms with laughtracks...but I'd be more prone to watch reruns now because of this.

and his role in Platoon was the central character to the movie and was basically an extension of Oliver Stone's own Vietnam War experiences into the film...that and, like his father did with Apocalypse Now, he did the voice over narration.

another good movie he's in is The Arrival...sleeper flick that critics liked better than audiences according to RT. check it out if you like Alien movies at all.

Sheen knows what he's doing. There isn't anything wrong with him at all, he's just fucking with the general public big time.

kinda like how you think you're a great troll but in reality you really are just wasting your life and energy trying to be ironic and hip?

that all depends on whether or not you actually like the chilli peppers. if you legitimately enjoy them that makes you a total dinosaur and decidedly unhip.

There may be no band less hip than RHCP outside of U2.

You're just not hip enough to enjoy RHCP.

I like One Hot Minute and most of Californication. Everything else by them is pretty awful though.

I like the Joshua Tree but I know that U2's practically the least hip thing you can like.

Its because of the Joshua Tree that they are so unhip. Everything before that is much more interesting and edgy. They were once compared to Echo and the Bunnymen but now everyone compares them to Coldplay and Snow Patrol.

www.answers.com/topic/echo-the-bunnymen-1

Imploded in Argument and Exhaustion
Meanwhile, their archrivals U2 had managed to break the United States market more successfully. "There was a time when the fortunes of Echo and the Bunnymen and U2 ran neck-and-neck, both leaders of the same dark, incantatory pack," remembered Brown in the Telegraph."Around 1988, both reached the cusp of the big-time," Brown continued. "U2—who refined their work from post-punk ideology to stylish mass appeal— stepped neatly across; McCulloch walked off stage in Japan, had a tantrum and split up the band." The singer recorded a long-anticipated solo effort, Candleland, in 1989, but tragedy struck for the band members when DeFreitas died in a motorcycle wreck that June. Sergeant and Pattinson hired a new singer, Noel Burke, as well as a new drummer and released Reverberation in 1990. People writer Michael Small deemed Reverberation a success, even with the new line-up. "They still meld sonorous guitars and smooth harmonies to create lightly undulating rock," Small opined.
