I still think it's the gay republicans, especially gay christian republicans. That's really unforgivable and nonsensical. Basically when I hear about gay christian republicans I just think to myself, "Goodness these people don't think at all, do they?"

Trots, I find your posts to usually be entertaining and thoughtful. This post however seems to cross the line. With all the homosexuals on Netphoria, I am sure there is one that is a Republican. That is offensive and disrespectful to all the homo's in here.

I work with a gay Catholic Republican. He's probably the worst person I've ever known for, perhaps surprisingly, none of the reasons I just listed.

I was going to say Gay Republican because the level of cognitive dissonance required for this person to exist is just so astronomical to the point of almost being unfathomable. Except there are so god damn fucking many of them, there must be some sort of identifiable underlying reason for these peoples' existence that makes a fair amount of sense.

I think probably gay republican. I think Republicans who are vocally (or even quietly) anti-Islam are outnumbered by those who are anti-gay, at least in the most relevant sense. No one is trying to bar Muslims from marrying each other, for example. Additionally, gays should at least theoretically be concerned with issues of equality and social justice and all that stuff. People have divorced their stated religious views from their politics (in certain areas, anyway) for-fucking-ever so I don't see that necessarily influencing a particular religious group that much.

i'm just spit-ballin' here though. i heard a stat that said 30% of gays voted republican in 2010. i don't get it.

i dunno those people want us to throw muslims out of the country

i guess they'd do it to gays too though

but i don't think that's true of mainstream republicans, they're just being old, backwards dicks that don't want things to change.

i honestly can't figure out what anti-islam republicans are actually about. i guess maybe it's the largest religious minority that consists mostly of brown people.

I was just thinking thought that I don't think American bigots really want to murder scores of people, they just want all these minority groups out of the country. Hey we're progressing as a species!

If Muslims don't like dogs, does that mean they won't fuck doggy style? Serious answers please.

Many (all?) animals fuck the same way that dogs do. Muslims probably call it "piggystyle"

don't hardcore conservatives usually think gay people are just mistaken and can actually be turned straight whereas the muslim world is just this frightening mass that nobody dares to touch or even learn anything about? seems like a republican muslim would be harder to find

Would it, though? I know some Muslims who are extremely conservative and vote accordingly. It pains me, but in their mind it makes perfect sense.

i saw an article somewhere about one and i had previously thought they didn't exist so i came here and asked this question because gay publicans well...why would you be out and queer and be in a party that represses your individual rights and part of the constituency thinks you can be cured with enough Jesus(tm).

So basically, I think the republican party should run a queer muslim for president.

Indians like the Republican party I assume Pakistanis do as well and they're Muslim. I dunno about Iranians and Arabs but I could see them voting consistently Republican at least before 9/11
