Got anything rad?

I recently got two Technics SL-1200 MK2 turntables, but still need to get a mixer.

I also got a Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 but something is wrong with the optic block, so it's been shipped out for repair.

I'd like to get the Serato SL 3 package but things are so expensive.

I've had 1200's and a djm5/600 for about a decade now.... used serato for a bit in 08/09 but traveling with a laptop/vinyl/code plates is a pain. Used CDJs for the past few years. Can't remember the last time I actually used my techs

What kind of CDJs do you have? I like the turntables but was thinking of selling them...they came with some nice cases included.

Pioneer cdj 1000's. If you plan to take djing seriously get cdj 1000's it's what you'll play on at 90% of clubs/raves

Do you think it's worthwhile to get a Pioneer mixer for extra interface it can do with the decks? I'd like to save some money there, but still get something nice with at least four channels.

ehhh effects are overrated imo so you don't need a djm500/600 unless you really want one. The DJM300 has pioneer quality knobs/faders/connections and gets the job done if you're on a budget. Also has similar layout. I don't really recommend pioneer shit based on their stellar quality but more so it's what you need to be familiar with. Lots of djs learn on random rigs at home and aren't familiar with what they see at clubs and make mistakes during their sets

To be honest I'd rather see someone buy a djm300 than buy some vestax or gemini with the bells and whistles but shit components. If you're shitting money buy an allen and heath mixer.
