But in all fairness Luke, I think the big boys wouldn't ever be that interested in something like homeopathy (regardless of its actual merits) because the military/industrial/prison/education/pharmaceutical/biotechnology/whatthefuckever complex makes more money when you're working with substrates that can be easily categorized and patented (i.e. intellectual property.) As far as the other "technologies" there, I think reliability is a huge issue. Even if there is something to them (and I'm not saying there is) they are clearly not demonstrably reliable in the hands of their end-users. Even by advocates' own admission, practitioners must have some sort of inherently special aptitude to know how to exploit them successfully. Ever wonder why there are so goddamn many SSRI's out there despite something only around 40% efficacy in treating moderate depressive symptoms and a number of studies showing that they really don't significantly outperform placebo and are often comparable to the performance of a "naturally occurring" antidepressant like St. John's Wort? Not to mention that once they fall off patent all they normally do is tweak some small aspect of the drug's constituents and re-sell under a new name. It's no different than the "textbook edition" game publishers play that everyone who's gone to university has had the displeasure of dealing with. Last edited by stumpycat : 12-14-2010 at 06:27 PM. |

these are fair and rational points stumpycat. But I should remind you, you don't know who I am and can't say whether I've worked hard or not which would come down to your perception at some point anyway, but why quibble over that at this point. Nevertheless, It would take some momentus movements on my part to push the edge of reason here to submit a "Godproof" <<<<< please, notice the question marks Nuclear physics is not what my experience is in. So, thanks for the throwing the names out there as those men you mention are a public interface of humans meeting the unknown and manifesting a reality from it. Oppenheimer's song, if you will. Or Teller or Von Braun or whomever... My experience is in remote viewing to conscious influence to potentially harmonic resonance reaching the astral world with a communication back from that world that is either coincidence or divine, you make the call (that's why I say potentially). It's my experience, so it's my enlightenment and as such the process doesn't come from a book or another person but the willingness to open the doors of perception and the resulting experience from that. These experiences lead me to believe such things as non-local awareness to remote viewing to conscious influence are indeed real. Last edited by The Omega Concern : 12-15-2010 at 01:59 AM. |

Holy shit! Only Omega could get me out of my semi-retirement from around here. Just remember TOC that in this new digital age only what you haven't written down and recorded can't hurt you. If you go forward with this story someday, good luck with the mass cynicism, u gonna need it.
