they already play 18. and most teams play somewhere between 34 and 38 games. So it would be doable. But even if you leave it at 18, I don't know that it would make that huge of a difference. Single games don't make or break basketball seasons like they do in football.

The Big Ten in basketball won't be nearly as lopsided and stupid as the Big 12 has been in football recently.

ohio state played 31 games last year... 18 conference 13 non, so i would think they would keep at 18 and michigan st. will have an easier schedule since they will play more games against the teams in their shitty division than the other division, giving them a higher ranking and probably a higher seed and therefore an easier road in the ncaa tournament. /run-on sentence.

but yea i guess it doesnt matter that much. big east and acc are the only conferences that matter in basketball anyways.

this of course assumes that they even apply the conferences thing to the basketball season

They aren't using these divisions in any other sports. They'll create divisions but they will be based on geography.

DeLaney said this.

Yeah. The SEC uses the same divisions in basketball as they do in football. 16 conference games. They play the other 5 teams in their division twice, and the 6 teams in the other division once.

Don't kill my dream. SFA does have probably the most prolific pass offense in college football, and A&M had just about the worst pass defense in the country last season.

McNeese scared the shit out of the Aggies a few years back, I would be surprised if at least that didn't happen.

I generally make it a rule of thumb to bet the opposite of what you say is going to happen

Then you lose a lot of money when it comes to college football.

Do I realistically think SFA can win? Eh, not really. Do I realistically think they can be leading at halftime and scare the shit out of A&M? Yes, I do.

Depth will kill them late in 3rd quarter until the end of the game, and they won't be able to stop A&M (they'll have to create turnovers to do so imo), but I don't see SFA's offense being stopped often at all for the first 3 quarters.
