Default So how do you feel about this being the new Hole?

That's a Corgan-penned (along with Courtney and Linda Perry) number, by the way.

They weren't anything special in the first place, but I did enjoy them being around in their earlier incarnation. For Melissa Auf Der Maur alone if nothing else.

Thought this might stir some conversation around these parts. What a trainwreck.

Well, it's no Violet and there's no Melissa but it sure isn't fucking Widow Wake my Mind. I actually like this song.

I remember 1998. Imagine a supergroup ft. Courtney, Billy and Marilyn Manson. "What Went Wrong"

what the fuck? this is the best Hole song in a long time, although it looks more like Courtney solo.

I dont understand this.... Melissa's role in Hole was like D'arcy status if not worse. Terribly easy basslines.... like 8th graders playing punk songs "E E E E A A A G G G G E E E E A A A G G G G". She had no personality in the band at all an contributed nothing creatively. What exactly did you enjoy about her?

how much of this do you think Corgan is really responsible for?

Fair enough, I wouldn't know much about Hole's creative considering that I've only heard a handful of singles. She did do the backing vocals, yes? I enjoyed those, and what's wrong with terribly easy basslines as long as they suit the music? She was sexy as hell as well.
