If you are Christian or Muslim or something like that it's a sin to have sex before marriage. So if you are a 25 year old religious person, than being a virgin is understandable. I'm also pretty sure it's common for people with autism/down syndrome to still be virgins in their 20s. If you aren't any of the above than I think silent1 may have the right answer.
