Anyone still listening to Window Wake My Mind?
I haven't listened to it since hour 2 of it's release.

Stopped listening at around two minutes on headphones. Billy has hit rock bottom. I mean, let's hope he can't steep any lower.

I listened to it once and forgot that my media player was on repeat, so I was treated to the first 2.5 seconds of it again before I could hit STOP, for God's sake STOP.

I could totally listen to GLOW of FOL right now.
I actually like GLOW still. You're all too hard on it. |

Like when Buffy The Vampire Slayer released a bad musical version of the show. He lost me at Oh Oh Oh. What is this Zwan 2.0? Are we going to add shitty album distortion too? |

also everyone stop comparing this to zwan. Baby, Let's Rock! is the only song that is even in the same ballpark as this.

Listened once all the way through, felt like I was being tortured at Gitmo.
Tried to listen twice since then, failed to get more than 2 minutes in. |

I don't think I will ever listen to it again. I played it once more this morning, out of morbid curiosity. It wasn't worth it.

its clear now after seeing the direction he's gone that Baby Lets Rock was done with no sense of irony whatsoever

Widow is so bad that people are already starting to appreciate FOL, which isn't a bad song.

GLOW wasn't bad at all, it had a sweet hook to it and some real heavy guitars. Haven't heard this one yet, not looking all that forward to it actually.

Listened to it for the second time, Billy told me to grace the moment or something. Wow. Afterwards I played Jellybelly, which burnt the lies off with brutal efficiency.

I listened again a couple times today. I'd still rather listen to it in context of other Teargarden songs.
I listened to Zeitgeist today, though, and by comparison it was damn good. And then I listened to Gish. That breakdown in Snail? Ah geez, the Pumpkins will never sound like that again. |
