I think talking is dumb. I mean I use some objective abstract communal device as representation of my being. Representation is reducing the transcendent idea of existence, pfft, why should we bother to abstract ourselves?

this guy i worked with at the music store got neil peart to sign his arm and then got it tattooed on

. the guy is actually covered in tattoos of the covers of rush albums. also, as you can imagine, he's a total dick.

i've only seen one tattoo in my life i thought was cool; one of my cousins has a fist-sized one on his foot of some circular looking buddhist symbol, which i am positive he actually knows what means and truly identifies with. but mostly fuck tattoos. it's like drawing on yourself with a ball point pen but IT NEVER COMES OFF.

My grandfather was in WWII and got one for that and my dad was in 'Nam and got one for that. I think those are perfectly good reasons
