i wonder how the hell they can afford all of that sometimes. tatts aint cheap let alone full sleeves. crust punk aesthetics on trust fund kids is a strange juxtaposition.
That's what's so funny. Most of the sleeved kids I know are more or less living off mommy and daddy.

I mean I can understand if you're older than 25 and work as an auto mechanic or something, like you're living some "off the grid" rough and rumble lifestyle. But these kids are hardly out of high school and listen to owl city and shit

Well I think it'd look shitty at 21, or 14, or 23 in the first place on my body, but that's just me.

But I don't really care about how I look that much. I have other things of mine to focus my efforts upon, as far as self improvement goes. So caring about my skin's appearance just really isn't optimal, especially so at old age.

I dunno, we haven't seen pics of you in ages. Let's see some and I'll be the judge of that.

But my point was that at 30 looks shouldn't really be that big of a concern. I mean I don't really care about looks at age 23, and I can only imagine I will care less and less about them every year.

Obviously I don't want the appearance of someone who is incompetent for a job or something, I'm talking more about appearing to be sexually attractive to potential mates.

When you're in your early 20s the 28-30 age range seems like some far off thing but its right around the corner. A lot of people are still living a college-Ish lifestlye even, despite having a job or even being married

Except for those who've gotten fat I really can't think of anybody under 35 who've really "aged" even though they don't necessarily look like teenagers either

i love my tattoos and i'm pretty sure i'll get some more, even though i'm older than 30 now. they are a part of me, like my skin is a part of me. so when i grow older they'll grow older with me, just like my skin does.

I have none, but I plan on getting at least one in the next year. Some people seem to get "addicted", which I just can't understand, as the decision to mark my skin forever is way too crass.

I have a few, I will certainly get a few more. I've been very picky with my ideas though and so far have only had pieces done I'd thought about for 12 months or more beforehand. No big sleeves or anything, though I am looking at a few slightly larger designs.

I agree that almost all tattoos are just tacky looking. Putting something on your body forever as a piece of art seems like a big commitment to me, and any tattoo should therefore be extremely personally meaningful IMO. To me it just looks stupid when I see people walking around with shitty looking tattoos of Chinese symbols and shit, which they almost certainly got because they thought they looked cool (yes, like a 15 year old smoking a cigarette outside school). I know guys with some straight retarded ass tattoos that they got when they were drunk (or not). I remember on one occasion in high school being in a car with some guys who were going to get tatted up later in the day and still had no idea what they were getting.

my grandpa has a bunch of tats on his arm. i never really notice them though. they are pretty faded at this point. you can still make them out though.

i generally don't like them, but some girls can look pretty hot and pull them off. this girl at the gym i go to is super hot and her whole upper arm is tatted up. also a friend of mine has several. i particularly like the one on her inner wrist.

overall though i say no.

i was at an amusement park this past summer and this girl, looked about 19/20, was wearing a tank top and i shit you not her entire chest was a tat of this great white shark coming out of the water and showing it's teeth. i mean her whole fucking chest.

There's nothing worse than looking at a woman with great legs through a pair of high-powered binoculars, only to scan down and see a stupid dolphin staring back at to you from her Achilles area. Or an angel gawking at you from the top of her foot. I dislike tattoos.

i have one on the back of my right shoulder that i got 3 years ago today as a matter of fact. it's really simple and probably won't be affected much by blurring and distortion as i age. i have been thinking about getting another one but haven't come up with the cash yet
