Well, it doesn't exactly get me up in the morning providing the strength to face another day, but I'm interested in it's release.

I hadn't thought about it for weeks until I realized it was 2010 and we still have only heard one song.

I still check sp.com, hipsters united and netphoria several times a day like an idiot expecting any kind of news about the next song.

I'm starting to check more frequently now that a few weeks have passed.

Waiting too long to release more songs is only going to hurt the project. I get the notion of having time to really listen and let the songs sink in but anything more than two weeks and the excitement starts to wane. It makes the "album" less cohesive, if it is indeed intended to be cohesive and not just an assortment of songs.

I thought it was going to at least be 1 song every month...

but he can't even do that.

He hasn't shown that. He did start a month and a half later than he said he would, but he hasn't missed any months yet. Song for a Son came out in December, so he's got a month to put out the next song in order to stay on schedule.

oh come on.

I'm not attacking Bill, but to claim that he's not behind on his own goals for this project is a bit rich

I said he started later than when he said he would. I'm not giving him a pass on that. Now that a track has come out and we know good and well that he has three more already in the can, there's no excuse for us to not get songs for at least January, February, and March. I'm just saying maybe we should at least give him til February 1st before we start saying that he can't even start with a song per month kind of pace.

A Song for a Son was available on Dec 7 on spinner. I'm curious to see where the next one will be released. But, I doubt Billy will do the same promo he did for the first song for all of the other songs. Seems like a bit too much to do every time.

Weird, I was like 99% sure that Song for a Son came out in the last week of November.

i think it's more the fact that he'd be hard pressed to find more places willing to help him promote it.

I think the last Billy said is 3-4 weeks, so tomorrow the song should be up (that is, of course, if there are no new delays)

Fuck, 26 months of this shit is going to get reaaaaaallly boring - that alone is going to ruin everyone's experience of most of this album before it's even heard
