you might want to consider that what you consider undrinkable, others think is really good. if my only goal was to put more hair on my chest and get drunk, i would drink liquor. i really like hoppy beers. i'm not pretending, i promise.

i wouldn't call you a pussy for not liking extremely hoppy beers. but i have never had a beer that i thought was too hoppy. i actually find 21st amendment's brew free or die ipa to be borderline undrinkable because of the overwhelming maltiness and almost a total lack of hops.

and for the record i also enjoy anchor steam and dale's pale ale and daisy cutter and alpha king and duvel and chimay and hennepin and ommegang abbey and fin du monde and brother thelonious and a bunch of other stuff that doesn't rely on a big hop kick.

Not really, I've never been a big hop guy. I've always preferred dark ales, porters, wheats, etc.

i've had the hop devil and hop wallop. i prefer the hop wallop. both are good though.

golden monkey is ok for its price point too.
