I am a huge Nebraska fan and went to the game on Saturday. A solid win over Florida Atlantic. I think we'll surprise some people this year. Coach Pelini has us on the right track.

Playing a high school in your first week should in no way show how good you are going to be in the regular season.

Let's get this shit going.

Colorado embarrassed for the 2nd week in a row, getting blown out by Toledo after falling to CSU in week 1.

They should really fire Hawkins already.

oh and holy shit the direct helmet to helmet hit to the buff qb's head was hard to watch...afterward he looked like he'd drank a bottle of liquor.

you do have a tendency of overestimating unproven teams

i have a wait and see approach

there's something about finishing that eludes even the most talented college football teams

and then you have michigan with a true freshman quarterback that can finish. outstanding.

I made a lot of money with Houston's win. Saw that coming a mile away.

My undergrad alma mater won 92-0. How embarrassing.

I wasn't impressed at all with USC or OSU. They didn't look like top 10 teams.

I get the feeling this is going to end up a screwy year as far as the top 10/BCS goes. It just doesn't seem like any of the supposed top teams are living up to their billing thus far except for Florida and maybe Texas.

Both Texas and Alabama had a rough first half. Florida is really the only one to appear untouchable I'd say.

Te0as playing at like 7,500 feet though. Takes time to get used to that elevation. Texas and Florida are by far the best teams - no one else that close.

So is Charlie Weis going to stop being a failure anytime soon? At least now Lou Holtz will stop talking about how ND will be "upset" by Texas in the title game.

Looks like Tate Forcier is on the way to single-handedly revitalizing Michigan's football program.

I honestly don't think U of M is very good, FWIW. Weis inexplicably throwing two passes on second and third down on their last series is what lost the game for the Irish. I don't care if Michigan has the box loaded and your WRs have had success against Michigan's CBs all game. Play it safe, run the ball, make Michigan use its timeouts. You do that, Michigan doesn't get the ball back with over two minutes and two times out left. IDIOT.

Go Blue!
