I listened to the advance/2002 version of Team Sleep's album on u-toob yesterday...pretty interesting. There were some songs they left off the final version that I hadn't heard.

all i want to listen to lately is chet baker.
is there anything at all modern that captures his sort of postive acoustic-based yet experimental vibe? |

my dream band right now features an acoustic guitar with delay, a few floor toms, a piano/electric keyboard, and a marimba/xylephone/tambourine/saxophone/vibes classically trained multi-instrumentalist.

and as I take the love you're giving I can feel the tension building in your mind and you're wondering if tomorrow I'll still love you like I'm loving you tonight you have no way of knowing but tonight will only make me love you more and I hope that you'll believe me 'cause I know you've never been this far before then there's the part about trembling hands touching forbidden places.... I mean it would be fine if he wasn't forty when this was released. Of course i suppose the woman might be a 30 year old virgin....right. Personally i'm partial to "louisiana woman, mississipi man" with Loretta Lynn. I embarrassed myself duoing that with my gf once at karaoke. I don't know if there are quality conway twitty songs honestly, all those i know i find kinda sound hilarious "hello darling...nice to see you...its been a looong tiiiime" |

I figured. I just find it hard to imagine Conway Twitty as a relevant artist but i'm also ignorant of anything thts not his 70's singles.

Just fucking terrible. I haven't listened to either since they first came out, and I just wanted to be sure that they weren't garbage. Now I feel nauseous. |
