the glowing towers in millenium park are really cool. for those not in the know, they change colours and each have one side dominated by a giant face that changes emotion or expression. then the faces change every ten minutes or so. i don't know what the piece signifies but its fun to watch and they make a nice meeting point.

great. although, as it happened, i only ended up spending one night there. i crashed my friend's house basically every other night. i just used the hostel for storage and taking showers, really. though it was very affordable and clean and friendly. i'd definitely stay there again.
