"what?"

repeats question

billy answers
"i think that guy is a fucking idiot"

wierd guy asks
"what do you think of the sounds?" or some other indie band

billy looks

"why the fuck are you asking me about other bands?"

weird guy asks
"what about kings of leon? why dont you guys play rocket? play rocket."

billy gets pissed, hardly answers any other questions, chats a bit with people he already knows and leaves.

Did Billy had to be that mean with that poor guy ???

I would like to know what's a clever or interresting question to him.

Yes. Those were stupid questions. No one cares about the fluff questions he was asking and it was just making Billy less patient for the people that wanted to know the real scoop.

or "what do you think about the curent state of music?"
"what your next setlist.."
"will you play Cherub rock, soma, zero again?"

It's more interresting that if he likes this or that band?

I agree that his questions are useless, but I don't think it worth to call him "Stupid" by Corgan...that's all I'm saying

some questions i wanted to ask him were what the status of Pumpkin Land 2.0 were, what the future recording processes would be like, what billy and the band thought of the crowd last night, how it felt for billy and jimmy to be back in chicago... there are countless better questions than "do you have any guitar picks?" and "why dont you play rocket?" or "do you like *insert shitty indie band here*?"

no I wasn't there, you're right, of course I'm just refering to what fans here say,
I don't blame fans. I would understand that reaction from fans that have also been waiting in the cold like this "dude" and could not ask a questions because of him...but I don't like Billy reaction, even if this guy asked stupid questions and make him waste his time, this "stupid guy" has paid for his show, so saying, not even directly he is a "stupid guy" , I think it's mean...
If it was a fan that said that, I would not matter, but from Billy or the band..it's being asshole
I just hate "rock star" thinking that there are more clever than their fans, and that dare to say such things..even if it's true, they had to stay polite...the guy apparently did not miss respect to Billy..

when i used to gig more often and had a small fanbase in and around town with my band, i used to chat with people after the shows very regularly. some of them were 'fans' some were just random folks interested in music or gear or whatever. we were never anywhere close to well known or famous in any right. if one of those people came up to me and asked me my thoughts on 5 bands that i didnt like nor cared about, id be pissed off and ask them why it has anything to do with anything. this is billy corgan and the smashing pumpkins playing the aragon ballroom.
they abosolutely crushed this audience. every person was singing along to everything. it was the most energized concert i've ever been to. when you take some time to meet and talk with fans after rocking out for 3 hours, its pretty irritating to get asked a bunch of irrelevant questions that put you right back in the place youve been complaining about all tour.

i understand what youre saying TL, but really, if you were there, youd understand why billy was pissed and why the rest of the fans waiting were too.

Yah, after he pulled those two girls out, another guy came up and wanted out. But security said "i can't be pulling everyone out all night" and made him go the other way. Probably because he wasn't female. also i think the guy kinda ended up enjoying being all the way up front - his near-pass-out dizziness probably made the show much more surreal.

That kid was pushed up front because he was gonna pass out and the security guard wouldn't help and got in my face saying that he "cant help everyone."

Yeah fuck that guy. That is your job to help everyone out. All those guys had it realitivley easy all night because of how the barricade was set up and how high the stage was. He was just lazy and wouldn't help a brother out.

Pizza Club- Great vid...although I think my hair was off that night, it usually does better in vids, poor acting I guess. Haha, sorry if I was a little rowdy with all my hand/horn throwing. Hope i didn't ruin much for ya.

Blissed, Cara, JR, PC, all others I was hanging with...you guys made it great. Lotta fun. I love being able to talk about this band with people that care just as much. You guys were all energetic and I loved it.

The show was amazing through and through. SO much energy from the band and crowd and I think Billy really ate it up. I thought his voice was spot on and the band was the tightest I've ever seen them. Gossamer->US was sooo fucking good. It was like seven straight songs were I was just in pure awe.

And Soma...it was my first time hearing it live. Once Jeff started playing the beginning, I found myself in chills. I subconsciously was saying holy fuck, over and over again. It was one of the greatest moments. I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with fandom.

Once again...waiting afterwards had it's funny moments with the kid getting hit by the fence and the guitar pick guy yelling at random people...but then it just got old. He asked stupid questions and really did ruin it for others. I don't blame Billy for getting pissed.
