At the Auditorium Theatre, Gio told me and Spaldz that taping was 100% okay.

I must say... I'm quite jealous of all you guys going to the Aragon show on the 7th. I will be at the Auditorium show on the 8th (and I think the White Crosses show looks GREAT!!), but I think the setlist played on the 7th will end up being the show I preferred... especially with the Frogs opening. You know something REALLY cool is going to happen at that show.

And yes, it seems this "5th and final show in Chicago" was probably planned before they post-poned the Nov 22nd show. So it would almost suck for the band to perform this mind-blowing show on the 7th at the Aragon, and then have to go perform White Crosses again the next night. Hopefully us "White Crosses" goers will get a 2nd encore of extra goodies they played on the 7th.

so the Aragon Ballroom is 1106 W Lawrence Ave.

bars near there:
Green Mill 1blk west and around the corner on Broadway (4802 N Broadway)
Uptown Lounge which is on Lawrence right by the Aragon (1136 W Lawrence) and i think its open til 4am

I'd recommend the Green Mill before the show and the Uptown Lounge afterwards.

Big Chicks and Crew are also there if you are interested in gay bars.

omg just bought my ticket for dec 07... I still don't know if I'll really go because I'm totally broken after my last week in Chicago for the supposed 2 concerts in the auditorium...and I'm not sure I can spend more usd 2,000 in all the trip...and I also have to find out a good excuse to get 2 days off in my job, especially because it's month closing period so I don't know....
But it would be perfect since I could go to Aragon and also the postponned concert in the following day...the only problem is that I had to buy Aragon tickets to pick up in the will call window, since it's the only option for intnl customers and ILAA only sells to us customers... But if I really go I'll get there really early although I know I'll suffer a lot with this unbearable cold in Chicago

Well I'll think about it more inthe weekend

id rather do something more entertaining than go barhopping before the show. just my preference. i dunno.

then figure something out? annoyance theatre is over there too. but what is more entertaining to do between like 4 and 7? i imagine the doors open at 630 and show is at 730?

green mill is really chill. its prohibition era and has decent music and great drinks. and its right around the corner.

Ugh. Because these shows are during my finals week I shouldn't really be going to either of them. But I'm determined to go to the postponed white crosses show anyway...I'm hoping to upgrade my seats, actually, since the person I was supposed to go with lives in California. Anybody know of any good deals on a single pit/orch ticket?

I tracked out the 11/21 show last night, but didn't get it up to the hub. I am missing the first few songs (starts at Siva), but what I did get sounds decent. I will get it to the hub in the next week.
